OUR MISSION

The Foundation brings together the power of the private sector with the principles of humanitarianism and social development.

Powered and steered by the international “Dunya Investment Group”, the Foundation aims at alleviating the consequences of the war of aggression against Ukraine for the civilian population by building a solid basis for recovery and reconstruction through sustainable, yet non-profit, investment in key sectors and through humanitarian action when and where required.

The Foundation will harness and blend donations, grants, and impact investment from the private sector, international donors, and individual contributions to develop and implement a wide portfolio of projects in housing, infrastructure, agriculture, social institutions, and services, as well as provide emergency humanitarian aid.

The projects will include, inter alia, housing for war affected populations, water and energy supply projects, agricultural and small industry development, and social institutions such as schools, health centers, and community centers. Furthermore, the organization will provide psycho-social and mental health services, physical, mental, and social rehabilitation of war victims, skill training, and business development support for young entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises. Targeted humanitarian assistance will be provided with water and food supplies, medical services, emergency shelter, and food aid.

To achieve its objectives, the organization builds synergies and partnerships based on a wide global and local network of partner companies, organizations, public and private institutions, experts, and volunteers. Projects will seek the greatest financial sustainability through a unique approach of private-social-public partnerships and be in compliance with local and national development and reconstruction plans and the global Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

The Governance of the Foundation will be ensured by a competent and experienced management team with international exposure and oversight, and advice will be provided through a high level international advisory board. Compliance with humanitarian standards and principles (Do-No-Harm) will

be ensured through internal and external monitoring and evaluation capabilities, and the highest standards of due diligence be applied.
